How to Reset the Door Locks in a 2002 Ml430


1. Insert the key for your 2002 ML430 in the ignition. Do not turn the key while in the ignition. You do not need to start the car to reset your key.
2. Press and hold the Lock button displayed on your key fob while the key is inside the cars ignition.
3. Continue to hold the Lock button down, and pull the key out of your vehicles ignition. Keep holding the Lock button even after the key is out.
4. Press the Unlock button five times in a row. Make sure to keep holding the Lock button when you do this.
5. Release the Lock button to complete the resetting process.

How to Manually Reset the Service Engine Light in a BMW 3 Series


1. Put the key into the ignition and turn the vehicle to the on position but dont start the engine.
2. Find the diagnostic port under the drivers side dashboard near the pedals. Plug the computerized scan tool into this port. The battery from the vehicle will automatically power on the tool.
3. Find arrows on the faceplate of the scan tool and use them to scroll through the menu until you find the Read All Codes command. Select this command.
4. Scroll through the menu again and find Clear All Codes. Select this option then wait for the service engine light to shut off.
5. Turn off the vehicle and wait five minutes. Start the engine and verify that the check engine light is still off.

3. Step 3: Use the "up and down" button until the picture of the wrenches shows on the display. Then move on to step 4.
4. Step 4: press and hold the "trip reset" button in for 10 seconds and then release it. then move on to step 5.
5. Step 5: Press and hold the "trip reset" button again for another 3 seconds and release it. Almost done.
6. Your vehicle service indicator should now be reset. Thats it, your done your vehicle mileage should reset on the display if you were successful.

How to Reset an Audi Radio Code


1. Find the exact model of your Audis radio, which is usually printed on the front of the radio. To double-check, either contact your Audi dealer or visit the online list of Audi radios, complete with photos.
2. Contact your Audi dealer to obtain the anti-theft code that corresponds with your radios model. This code will usually be 4 digits, though with some codes the first digit is blank.
3. Press the 2-button combination that triggers your radios unlocking sequence. For example, if your radio is a Delta, press and hold AM and ARI-Z simultaneously until the display flashes CODE, then immediately release. After a pause, the display will flash 1000.
4. Use the numbered preset buttons to enter the code obtained from your Audi dealer. For example, if your code is 1572, press the 1 preset button once, the 2 button 5 times, the 3 button 7 times and then press the 4 button twice. These numbers should appear on your radios display as you enter them.
5. Press and hold the 2-button combination from Step 3 until the radios display flashes CODE. Your radio should unlock at this point.

How to Reset an S8 Service Interval


1. Locate the trip-meter knob in the lower center of the gauge cluster. The knob is black and you use it to reset your mileage on your tip-meter.
2. Push inward on the knob until the service interval light starts to flash. This generally takes about 10 seconds.
3. Let the knob out, and then tap it in one time quickly to turn off the light.
