Mercedes Benz E63 AMG 2010 Review New And Improved – It Is Even More Fantastic Than Before

Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG 2010 Review - The name of the Auto 63 and 6.3 badges on front fenders of the cult an old engine with a real shrinkage of 6.3 liters. Former E-Class AMG has only been strengthened versions of the standard suspension, but as C63 AMG, the new E63 will have a substantially revised suspension over the standard car, it is based. Version 2010 will have a completely new front axle with a track 2.2 inches wider. Spring rates are twice as strong as the single vehicle, requires a change of air springs for conventional coils. air springs leveling remain on the back. In addition, the anti-roll bar and cradle rings have been improved.
Under the hood is a 6.2-liter 32-valve V-8 that makes 518-hp and 465 lb-ft of torque. New for this car is an alternator clutch enabled, which allows the engine to charge the electrical installation for cabotage save fuel. The engine is mated to a 7-speed automatic transmission, but the engine is coupled with a wet clutch instead of a conventional torque converter. The first time in the SL63 AMG, this provision allows a more direct connection between the engine and gearbox and change the results in the rapid response. Like the SL63, there are multiple contexts: C (for "effective control"), sport, sport again, and race manual launch control mode.

Mercedes-Benz says the E63 is similar or better performance and C63, which is very credible. E63 is much nicer and not just because its bigger. E63 standard suspension is a bit exuberant. carbon-ceramic brakes are working well with everyone a little squeak can be found in other ceramic systems and a lot of pedal feel, though the cold. Yet, no one is shocked by the standard brakes, which are easier to adjust than oil.

Press Release

Wimmer Power Boost for the C-Class C63 AMG Performance – Level 3

Wimmer RST and extreme performance improvements are inseparable. The C-Class C63 AMG Performance itself is already a specific car. Perhaps, this luxury saloon has not been changed so much, but a portion of additional power is obligatory for the Wimmer RST tuner from Solingen.

The Level 3 performance kit for the C63 AMG is available now. It increases the engine output to as much as 580 hp and 690 Nm. Small changes of an air flow through the air filter from K & N, air induction optimization and engine software are also included. A powerful V8 sound is the strength of the Wimmer RS-Sport exhaust system. The vehicle has an exhaust manifold with down pipe, a sports catalyst and optimized cat-back all-stainless steel exhaust system.

The V-Max with the Wimmer power boost brings the power up to about 305 km / h (electronic limitation). The demonstration vehicle is also equipped with Dunlop Sport Maxx GT tires and the KW-Club Sport Suspension.

The vehicle with the relatively insignificant overtaking prestige will certainly overwhelm various sports car owners!

The cost of the full performance level 3 is 9900 Euro including installation.
